Thank you for
visiting us!
Above all, we want you to know that we're committed to guarding your privacy--
we'll never do anything to violate your trust in us. Here is what information
you need to provide us and then what happens to that information:
WHEN YOU ORDER FROM US ONLINE
When you buy online we will need your name, address, telephone number,
your credit card number and its expiration date.
If you want the Zwiebelmuster items delivered to an address other than
yours ( a "ship to" address) we will also need the name, address
and telephone number of that person.
You may opt for periodic e-mails or postal mailings from the form on the
"Contact Us" page. We will require your name, address, and e-mail
address in those cases.
IS MY ONLINE ORDER SECURE?
Yes! When
you're gathering your purchases the shopping program is designed to run
on an insecure server. It WILL NOT collect any information about you while
running in insecure mode. But when you are ready to make your purchase
you will be transferred to a secure server. ONLY THEN will you be asked
to provide your shipping and billing information. YOUR PRIVATE DATA WILL
BE ENCRYPTED before sending it back to European Blue for processing.
DO YOU USE
COOKIES?
Our
catalog program uses cookies only for your convenience. The shopping cart
program creates a tiny temporary text file on your computer's hard drive
when you add an item to your cart. The cookie is just a housekeeping device--
it enables the shopping cart to recognize your computer the next time
you log on. Why? So that you can come back to your shopping cart later
and the same items will be there-- even if you log off and then revisit
the Zwiebelmuster site later.
The cookie can't access your computer files and it certainly won't harm
your computer. And it's not a privacy issue because the cookie won't reveal
your identity or email address to anyone.
Most common versions of the Netscape
and Internet Explorer browsers
will accept cookies unless you tell them not to. If your browser does
not accept cookies, or if you return after the cookie expires (14 days),
you will be assigned a new cart when you return. That's what we use cookies
for-- so that the Catalog Store program will recognize you when you revist
us.
